Day 23: Pages 67-69

Jacob's sermon uses a few more Isaiah chapters. I always find these difficult, but I like that Jacob starts by telling us why he is going to quote Isaiah. He says in chapter 6 verse 5,

"the words which I shall read are they which Isaiah spake concerning all the house of Israel; wherefore, they may be likened unto you, for ye are of hte house of Israel..."

This same reason applies to us. We are of the house of Israel and should learn (with time and study - lots of time and study) how to "liken" the words of Isaiah to ourselves!
